Evening Sous Chef

Purpose of this position:

To ensure a high level of food quality, value, consistency, and satisfaction to the guests, while maintaining/exceeding budgeted labour and staff.

Location:
Grafton, ON (45 minutes east of Oshawa)

Key Objective # 1 – Daily activities and responsibilities:

• Properly handles food, equipment, and utensils
• Prepares food according to Chef’s specification and recipes
• Sets up daily mise-en-place
• Cleans and maintains his/her working place, store, equipment, and utensils
• Participates in the meal service
• Follows and enforces the hygiene and safety standard set by the Public Health Department and the food services department

Experience:

• Able to commute or relocate to Grafton Area
• 1+ years of cooking experience
